Pandit Ravishankar Tripathi Government College, Bhaiyathan is established in 2010 under Department of Higher Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, and named after the former MLA of this region. This institution offers under graduate programs in B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. This institution also offers post graduate programs in Hindi, Geography, and Political Science. The institution is permanently affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, Sarguja, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. The institution is situated in the tribal belt and majority of students come from tribal and other backward classes such as Pando, Gond, Kanwar etc. The college building is located in the Jamdi village of Bhaiyathan block. In the year 2022, it is accredited “C” grade in the first cycle by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
